Sometime shortly after the turn of century, six members of the San Francisco Concert Chorale - tenors Tim Jones, Steve Peace, Scott Wood and basses Allen Foster, Rick Rosen, Peter Sargent - got together for pizza & beers and to explore the idea of a new male a cappella-oriented singing future. These eating, drinking, and thinking sessions ultimately resulted in the formation of the San Francisco-based first iteration of Cordus Mundi.
Cordus Mundi Mach I gave performances in California venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including concerts in San Francisco, Burlingame, Belvedere, Pacifica, Marin, Oakland, Berkeley, and more. Programs on the West Coast ended in 2004 when founder Rick Rosen left California to return to the East Coast.
Photos from three Cordus Mundi programs are shown, including shots from the very first and very last concert programs, as well as photos from the infamous gamblers sequence.
